 **A Life-Changing Experience for Our Family**

As a mother of two teenagers, I can't express enough how grateful I am for the incredible impact Winners' Camp has had on our family. Two years ago, when my daughter was set to attend a fun summer camp, we stumbled upon Winners' Camp on the radio. At that time, our son was a typical teenager--full of attitude, not too interested in his family, and lacking responsibility. We encouraged him to attend, hoping it would be a positive experience.

When he came home after the seven-day camp, he was exhausted--but something had shifted. His attitude toward us and his sister completely changed. He started showing real care, wouldn't go to bed without saying "I love you, Mom," and took on the role of making sure our family was eating well, getting enough sleep, and staying active. He also told us he had realized how fortunate he was to have a loving family, something he hadn't fully appreciated before.

To our amazement, this wasn't just a short-lived phase. His grades improved from As, Bs, and Cs to straight As the following school year. He returned to the camp multiple times, first as a camper, and later as a junior leader, where he learned leadership skills and habits that have stuck with him. After witnessing such a transformation in him, we sent our daughter to the camp as well, and we've watched her blossom in the same wonderful way.

Yes, the camp tuition is higher than some of the fun summer camps around, but the long-lasting emotional and mental growth we've seen in our kids makes it worth every penny. The camp's director, leaders, and staff are deeply dedicated to their work, and their passion shines through in their impact on these young lives.

Even after campers graduate, Winners' Camp continues to support them through Super Saturday events that help them reflect on their goals and reinforce their teamwork and leadership skills. They also offer workshops for parents, helping us better understand and communicate with our teens.

We are profoundly thankful for everything Winners' Camp has done for our family, and we truly hope more families will benefit from this outstanding program. 

"The teamwork and comradery amongst the group I brought is unbelievable. They interact better with one another, they work harder for each other, but more importantly they cheer each other on outside of Outback because of the relationships that they created. My goal is to bring a group of Outbackers to Winners Camp at least twice a year. I already have others that did not get to go asking when we are planning our next outing. I would highly recommend that any business organization that wants to strengthen their team contact Winners Camp as soon as possible. Thank you so much for the wonderful hosting of our Department of Transportation leadership training! This was the first time we have been to Kahamehame Ridge and Winners' Camp, and we already look forward to returning. Kahamehame Ridge is such a special place that provided us a chance to see not only O'ahu and the moku of Kona and Ko'olaupoko from different perspectives but each other as well. You and your staff have truly created a warm and welcoming space at Winners' Camp. Your generous spirit and comfortable facilities create the perfect learning environment for groups like ours to deepen our connection and strengthen our skills as leaders from and for Hawai'i.  I have been a witness to what Winners' Camp does for over 35 years. There is nothing like it. The Leaders and staff provide support, activities, and content that impact teens' lives immediately and forever. Thousands of teens have benefited, and your teen will too! All aspects of life are touched: physical, emotional, intellectual, and the realm of personal responsibility and integrity. 

 I love winners camp so much it helped me get through emotional baggage that I have been carrying my whole life. I got taught life long lessons in a fun and interactive way and learned more about myself. I always had a hard time talking in front of a group of people and each day the staff encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and pushed me because they knew I could do it. I fell in love with this camp and this is my fifth year going up to camp as a part of the staff and helping kids reach there full potential. Along with doing fun activities like ropes courses and getting to know the people at the camp without electronics in the way. We learned how to communicate well with others and learn more about ourselves, what we can do and how to set good life goals. Each time I go up to camp I come back down learning something new. With the things I learned from camp I bring back down to my regular life and use those skills in everyday life/ school.
